Privacy
As of October 2026. If anything changes on the site — advertising, payment providers, affiliate links — this text will be updated beforehand.
Summary
This site loads nothing from third-party servers, sets no cookies and creates no user accounts. Your progress stays in your browser. We count which pages are visited — on our own server, without any identifier that survives the day, and you can switch it off.

Visiting the site
When you visit, your browser transmits technically necessary data to the web server, including IP address, time, requested file and browser identification. The site is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus, which processes these server logs on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR) and deletes them after a short time. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: without this data a website can neither be delivered nor protected against attacks.
Fonts and images
All fonts and graphics are hosted on this server. No Google Fonts, no content delivery networks and no external images are loaded.
Your progress
Answered questions, saved questions, test results, your selected state and display settings are stored in your browser’s localStorage. This is not a cookie: the data is never sent with a page request and does not leave your device. You can delete it at any time on the progress page. The storage serves only the service you requested and is permitted without consent under § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG.
Offline use
So that the site works offline, a service worker stores pages, catalogue, styles and fonts in your browser’s cache. This is not a cookie either; they are copies of the same files you loaded anyway.
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection under Art. 15 to 21 GDPR, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Visitor statistics
This site counts what happens on it by itself. No Google Analytics, no third-party service, no transfer to third parties: the records go to collect.php on the same server and stay there.
What is counted
When a page is opened: the address, the section, the host name of the referring page (not the full address), the language setting, the window width, the browser and operating system family, and the position of the page within this visit. When leaving: how long the page was visible, how far it was scrolled, how many questions were answered and how many correctly, whether a test simulation was passed and which search terms were entered.
What is not counted
Not which question you answered or what you answered. Not your progress and not your state. No cookies.
How the numbers are kept apart
Your IP address is not stored. The server creates a hash value (SHA-256) from IP, browser identification and a secret value and stores only that. The secret value changes every night; after that nobody can be recognised again. Within one visit, a random identifier in sessionStorage links the pages together; it disappears when you close the tab.
Legal basis
Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — the legitimate interest in knowing which content is needed. Whether measurement of this kind is permitted without consent under § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG has not been conclusively settled; it is therefore designed so that the arguments in its favour are as strong as possible, and it can be switched off.
Objection
If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, nothing is sent. And here is the switch:
The switch does not work without JavaScript — in that case the two other options apply.
Storage period
The records are stored as one text file per day outside the web directory and are deleted automatically after twelve months.
